Waterstone Legal began in 2014 with a small team and a straightforward frustration: legal help had become something people put off. Too slow, too opaque, too expensive to even ask a question. Founder Shah Ali set out to make City-standard property law available to everyone, starting from a single office in the Minories.
Twelve years on, we're a 20-strong firm across London and Leicester, trusted with more than 5,000 matters for clients in over 40 countries: first homes, family matters, visas, disputes and commercial deals. Lenders put us on their panels and the Law Society accredits our conveyancing. The advertising we leave to our clients.
What hasn't changed is how we work: a named solicitor from start to finish, fees agreed up front, and advice in plain English.
